Impact World Change

Long before fruit trees were planted at Project Manuelito, seeds of hope were sown. We’re excited to see continued progress at this beautiful ministry in Honduras—a place that has been close to our heart for many years. The recent planting of fruit trees with students and visiting guests is just one example of how God is growing a sustainable future for these children, both spiritually and physically. Impact World Change has supported Project Manuelito for a long time, walking alongside their team through seasons of planting and harvest. We’re grateful to see others stepping in to serve, and we celebrate what God is doing through every hand involved.

If you feel called to join this mission—whether through prayer, giving, or even going—we invite you to be part of the ongoing story.

Like many Ukrainians, Mariia Kharytonova’s life changed forever when her country was invaded on February 24th, 2022. She co-edited and wrote the book "24", capturing the stories of civilians and soldiers from that day and beyond. The Manuelito Project in Honduras is a ministry dedicated to providing support to vulnerable children and young people. This project offers a safe shelter, food, education, and comprehensive care to those who have been abandoned or come from high-risk environments. Its main goal is to provide these children and young people with the necessary tools and support so that they can fully develop, moving away from violence, poverty, and abuse.

We will tell you a story about how Impact World Change is making positive contributions around the world.

In 2023, a workgroup of ours was heading to Honduras to serve in Proyecto Manuelito . At the airport, everyone was wearing their Impact t-shirts. Someone at the airport approached Tim Lake and asked about their organization. In addition to answering, they exchanged email addresses.

After several communications, a container full of food arrived at Proyecto Manuelito, which has served over 4000 people.

In Honduras, there is a remote and coastal area, difficult to access and very poor, called La Mosquitia.

Do you know how far the food that resulted from a conversation at the airport reached? Yes, to La Mosquitia!

Hallelujah! God is good.
