Tonight this young man will be throwing out the 1st pitch in his last Little League Kansas State Championship. Wayne Metcalf moved to Baxter in 1955. He got involved in Little league in 1966, he became the league president in 1969 and held that position for 38 years. He became the District Administrator in 1973 a position he will be resigning from this year after 53 years of service. Wayne we thank you for your dedication! Game starts at 7:00 tonight for those who wish to cheer on his 1st pitch.
