Lion Connie recently received several flower donations for the Welcome to Baxter signs located on the north and south entrances to town.

We are currently looking for donations of quality garden soil for the flower beds, as the soil in the south flower bed has made it difficult for some of the flowers to thrive.

If anyone has garden soil, they would be willing to donate, we would greatly appreciate your support in helping keep these community welcome areas looking beautiful.

As we gather with family and friends this weekend, let us also take a moment to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy because of those who served.

We welcome any donations of plants, especially any ground covers like sedum, etc.

Bring them with you! We’ll be sorting donated glasses tonight so they can be refurbished and distributed to those in need. Your donation can help someone see clearly again — what a simple way to make a big difference!
