EVERYTHING HAS A PURPOSE

At Camp Liberty, even the color of a T-shirt has meaning.

Our color-coded shirt system allows Challengers, parents, Cadre, and civilian staff to quickly identify roles, responsibilities, and levels of authority across the camp.

⚫ BLACK SHIRT – LEADERSHIP
Worn by Cadre with direct command responsibility for a course or unit.

⚪ GRAY SHIRT – SUPPORT CADRE
Worn by military Cadre serving in support roles such as administration, logistics, supply, and other staff functions.

🔴 RED SHIRT – MEDICAL
Worn by licensed medical professionals assigned to the Medical Aid Station.

🔵 BLUE SHIRT – CIVILIAN STAFF
Worn by civilians assigned to Maintenance, Facilities, Food Service, Housekeeping, Administration, and other support assignments.

🟢 GREEN SHIRT – CADET CADRE
Worn by Cadets serving in leadership or service support roles.

🟤 TAN SHIRT – CHALLENGERS
The standard shirt worn by Challengers attending training.

🟡 YELLOW SHIRT – DISCIPLINARY STATUS
Worn by Challengers who are being discharged for disciplinary reasons.

This system allows leadership to quickly assess supervision, staffing, medical coverage, and accountability across Camp Liberty. It is one of many tools used to maintain a safe, organized, and professional training environment.

Everything has a purpose.

📞 SAFE ARRIVAL CALL & PROOF OF LIFE PHOTO 📸
One of the most important moments of Receiving Day (R-Day) is knowing your Challenger has arrived safely at Camp Liberty.

To ensure every family receives confirmation of arrival, all Challengers will complete our Safe Arrival process.

✈️ If your Challenger flies into Alabama:

✅ One scripted Safe Arrival Call
✅ One official Proof of Life Photo

🚗 If your Challenger is dropped off at Camp Liberty:

✅ One official Proof of Life Photo
❌ No phone call

Parents, please help us by preparing your Challenger before arrival:

✔️ Ensure they have your phone number memorized. ✔️ Understand that only ONE call attempt will be made. ✔️ We will not accept inbound, return, or verification calls. ✔️ Male Challengers will receive haircuts before their Proof of Life Photo is taken. ✔️ Cell phones remain secured and inaccessible until the Challenger is detached from Camp Liberty.

The official Proof of Life Photo taken at the Camp Liberty photobooth confirms your Challenger has arrived safely and begun their Training Mission.

Your Challenger's safety is our #1 priority, and your peace of mind matters.
