Introducing Jesse Nield, a Lander County FFA and 4-H youth.
The Chamber encourages your participation in the Tri-County Fair Livestock auction, Sept. 6th @ 9am. Keep in mind you will be investing in the future of Nevada Agriculture.
When you are a 4-H or FFA member, raising livestock is a labor of love. These young humans put so much effort into their animals knowing that the final goal is to sell them and see them led off after the auction. Please don't skip the livestock barn at the Tri-County Fair this Labor Day weekend. Go talk to the 4-H and FFA youth. Experience for yourself the passion the youth have for their project. Then gather up some friends and businesses and attend the auction on September 6, starting at 9am, and bid on these animals. Will you likely pay higher than market price? Yes, but consider that you are paying for so much more than the animal. You are rewarding that child for dedicating themselves to another life, for not quitting when it was freezing outside and ice needed breaking for water. You are rewarding sleepless nights when their animal is in labor or sick. You are rewarding hours of working with the animal in the hot sun. Thank you for supporting and encouraging our 4-H and FFA youth.

You are reinforcing that child's dedication to another life. Recognizing their commitment of not quitting when it was freezing outside and ice needs breaking, the sleepless nights when their animal is in labor or sick.
