🚨Unless we act now, critical programs that support our students could shut down. 🚨

👉🏽 Here's what's happening and what you can do.

💪 The Trump administration wants to give political appointees even more control over education funding decisions.

That means funding decisions will be made by political appointees with an agenda, not based on:
📊 empirical data,
👧🏻 student needs,
🏛️ program quality, or
👩🏽 professional expertise.

Programs could lose funding if they support:
✔️ Women and girls,
✔️Immigrant families,
✔️LGBTQIA+ students,
✔️Racial equity
✔️Students with disabilities
✔️A fuller account of U.S. history.

⚖️ Schools and districts will have to balance what they believe is best for students with which programs could be targeted as contrary to the current administration’s values.

🎒 Federal funding should serve students, not politics.

🗣️ Tell the Office of Management and Budget: Keep politics out of education funding.
