Spots, t-shirts, medals, and New Years resolutions are still available for the Resolution Run. On the day t-shirts were ordered, we had 71 registered runners. The registration page says t-shirts and medals are not guaranteed after 12/1, but in my optimism, I ordered 3x as many t-shirts to assure we have enough (222 total). We are halfway to our registration goal and hope to see you there! Please comment below or send a message if you have any questions. Hope to see you there!

We will do our best to have t-shirts for all participants! The registration page says that registering for the event after 12/1 does not guarantee a shirt or medal, but we will try hard to ensure everyone receives both. Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you at the start!

The Resolution Run is teaming with Spaghetti Factory - each virtual and in-person winner of the 5k, 10k, and 15k will receive a $25 gift certificate, and 10 in-person runners will receive $10 certificates as well! Thank you, Spaghetti Factory!! Runners may continue registering until the day of the event. Register before Thursday to guarantee yourself a t-shirt & finishers medal!

Dear Blooms to Brews athletes and supporters,
We are extremely saddened to announce that we must cancel the 2020 Blooms to Brews event for circumstances beyond our control. We opened registration on good faith that we had the approval we needed to proceed with the 2020 event. Unfortunately, it has become clear that it will not be possible to host an event that will be a viable and safe event for our athletes.
Our team of friends and family have poured our heart and souls into this event. We started with the intention to get people healthy and fit and highlight the beautiful community of Woodland. When we lost our permit to host the event within the city limits of Woodland, we worked extremely hard to come up with a win:win solution to be able to continue this event in the community. We aren’t quitters and hate feeling like we failed our athletes. We are so disappointed that the obstacles have just become too challenging.
This weekend it became clear that we needed to cancel the event so we immediately started brainstorming solutions for our athletes. We currently have hundreds of athletes who have already registered and we never want the people who have believed in us over the years to have to suffer.
We called our friends at WHY Racing events and here is what we have arranged that we hope you will agree is a very generous and win:win solution for all.
• Athletes who have already registered will be able to enter any of the 2020 WHY Racing events at a comparable distance for free. Why Racing events hosts 12 events including extremely scenic, flat and fast courses all throughout Washington and Oregon. Here is their website where you can view the schedule for all 2020 Why Racing Events https://whyracingevents.com/
• We will provide Why Racing events will the names of the athletes currently registered. Those athletes will email [email protected] when they are ready to register for any of the 12 Why Racing Events. You will be provided a unique registration code that will enable you to register for free. They host events all throughout the year, and also host their Spring Classic event along the beautiful Columbia River in April so that would be a great event to transfer to if looking for something around the same time as Blooms to Brews. For our marathoners, they also host the PeaceHealth AppleTree Marathon and the Pacific Crest marathon – both stunning events! Or join us for their next event, the Couve Clover Run, a super fun event!
We hope that being able to register for any of their 12 events will provide you ultimate flexibility and convenience to offset the registration for Blooms to Brews. As many of you know, we have already used funds for marketing and promotion so refunds are not possible. This arrangement with Why Racing Events enables us to provide you the value in return for your registration and belief in us.
We profusely apologize for putting our athletes in this situation. We would have never opened registration if we had thought we would have had to cancel the event.
We will continue to run and race in the community as so many of you are our friends for life.
