When you join scouts, it isnt just the scouts who make great friends and lasting memories! The scouts may earn the badges, but the parents and leaders collect some pretty amazing memories of their own. ❤️🏕️

On Tuesday, our Webelos Scouts got an unforgettable inside look at City Hall with Mayor Overholser. From how voting works to what goes into planning and building playgrounds—and even sitting in the Mayor’s chair—our scouts were all in!

Huge thanks to Communications Manager Alisha Smith and Mayor Overholser for making the visit so engaging, informative, and fun. Experiences like this help inspire the next generation of informed, involved community members!

It was smiles all around this weekend, as scouts and families from our community gathered at Klineline Pond for our Pack's Annual Fishing Day.

Lines were cast, fish were caught and the weather was downright bag-worthy!

And by the end of the day, so were the fish stories! 😉

Looking for a free, fun and easy way to enjoy the fantastic weather this weekend?

Come on out to Klineline Pond and join Pack 443 for a morning of fishing!

🎣Practice casting with our Backyard Bass land fishing!
🪱Learn about bait and tackle.
🐟Try your hand and catching a big one!

We will have some supplies that can be used or feel free to bring along your lucky pole.

This is a great opportunity to see what Cub Scout adventures are all about.

This past weekend, our Scout Families teamed up with the City of Battle Ground for a Park Appreciation Day at the Battle Ground Event Center. And WOW did they show up ready to make a difference! From picking up trash and clearing debris to pulling weeds, planting flowers and shrubs, trimming roses, and spreading mulch, our scouts rolled up their sleeves and got to work.

This is what Scouting is all about, learning by doing, giving back to our community, and having FUN while we do it (with a healthy dose of sunshine ☀️)!

A HUGE thank you to the City of Battle Ground and all the amazing volunteers who joined us. It takes a village to keep our community beautiful, and we’re so proud to be a part of it.

🎣 Free Fishing Day with Cub Scout Pack 443! Come Join the Fun!

Looking for something easy and fun to do with your kids? Bring them out to Klineline Pond for a relaxed, hands-on fishing day for ages 5–11.

We will be at the Pond from 8am to 12pm. Come on out and learn about having the right gear, practice casting at our Backyard Bass fishing station, and toss a line in the pond and see what bites! 🐟

It’s a great way for kids to try fishing, meet new friends, and get a feel for what Pack 443 Cub Scouts is all about.

Come give it a try. We’d love to see you there!

For the past TWO Saturdays, our amazing Webelos Den has been spending their mornings giving back at the 💛**Northeast Emergency Food Program** 💛

This incredible organization serves the largest population of people experiencing good insecurities in Oregon, supporting around **1,000 unique households every week** through their shopping-style pantry.

Our Webelos didn’t just volunteer — they learned. They learned about the program, about service, and about what it truly means to offer DIGNITY to every person who walks through the doors. Their volunteer coordinator, who guided scouts through the process, shared a powerful reminder that being friendly, welcoming, and kind helps ensure each guest feels respected and valued.

And our Scouts put that into action! 🙌
They stocked shelves, greeted guests with warm smiles, and worked alongside their adult partners to help shoppers out to their vehicles.

Living the Scout Law in real life.

We are so proud of these young leaders for showing up, working hard, and serving our community with heart. Way to go, Webelos! 💙✨

🕵️‍♂️✨ SPY NIGHT SUCCESS! ✨🕵️‍♀️

Friday was a BIG night for our Scouts! We celebrated our annual Blue & Gold Ceremony, honored what it means to live the Scout Law, recognized our amazing leaders, and proudly sent our Arrow of Light Scouts on to new troop adventures.

Then…

🚨 We received an urgent call from the Battle Ground Police Department — our Pinewood Derby trophy had been stolen! Our Scouts jumped into action, learning about fingerprints, shoe prints, black lights, and secret codes. They tested their stealth skills in a laser maze and carefully analyzed every clue.

In the end, they cracked the case and discovered the Phantom Racer had hidden the trophy at the Battle Ground Library! We were even patched through to body cam footage of it being recovered — what a moment!

We’ve got some seriously sharp detectives in our ranks. 🕶

A huge thank you to BGPD and the Battle Ground Library for helping make this night unforgettable.
