Companion Cats

Companion Cats Companion Cats is a 501(c)(3) non-profit run by volunteers that seek to find homes for unowned cats.

Once spayed our goal is to place them in an environment that best fits each cat. This method provides the most humane living situation possible. Both friendly and feral alike deserve the perfect forever home. If the cat is not very friendly but is homeless, perhaps this means being a “Barn Buddy” or being introduced into a controlled colony. If feral kittens are found, it might mean living in a vo

lunteer foster home where they can be socialized until old enough to be tested for FIV & FeLV, spayed, microchipped and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Huge thank you to Staci Christman Gardner , long time supporter of many local nonprofits, including ours. For her birthday she requested donations to Companion Cats and/or the Haven Maternity House and raised $1,400 for Companion Cats alone (and a hefty amount for HMH too)! Our cats may not always be thrilled about a trip to the vet, but they sure know how to make the best of it! 😹❤️

Regular veterinary care is an important part of keeping our Companion Cats happy, healthy, and ready for their forever homes.

We are beyond thrilled with the Catio Grand Opening Ceremony that took place yesterday. Many thanks to our Project Partners Michele Reid, Debby KA and Dan Buckner and to Vice Mayor Sherry Sofia for assisting with the ribbon cutting.
Thank you to ALL who donated to make this idea become a reality and to our faithful volunteers who show up for the cats every day. 🎉🎉

Companion Cats will be closing adoptions early at 1:00 PM TODAY, Saturday, August 15, as we get ready for our Catio Open House Celebration! 🎉🐱

If you’re hoping to meet our adoptable cats, please plan to stop by before 1:00 PM. ❤️

After that, we’ll be busy getting everything ready to welcome the donors, volunteers and Project Partners who helped make our beautiful new catio and meet & greet room possible!
