We’re less than two weeks away from the Pennfield Schools Bike Rodeo! 🚲

Bring the family and join us Friday, October 16, from 5–7 p.m. for a FREE evening of bicycle safety, riding skills, and fun! In partnership with Safe Routes to School Michigan, we’re helping students build confidence on their bikes and learn skills for safer rides around their neighborhoods and to school.

📍 Parking lot behind Dunlap Elementary, next to the football stadium
8465 Pennfield Road, Battle Creek, MI 49017

Students from all four Pennfield schools, grades K–12, are welcome! Bring your bike if you have one to practice at our skill stations and learn from instructors. Don’t have a bike? Come join us for bicycle safety activities and giveaways!

Every Pennfield student who attends will receive a FREE bicycle helmet! We’ll also give away FOUR bikes, with one participating student from EACH school winning a bike, plus more free giveaways! 🎉

Parents and caregivers, bring your kids for an evening of learning, movement, and fun together. We can’t wait to see you there!

We had so much fun at our first monthly group ride! We rode from our shop to Leila Arboretum and back along the beautiful Linear Path for around 10 miles! One parents said that was the longest bike ride she had done in years!

Please join us for our next ride on August 24th!

A bike can change a life, did you know that?

For a some time, Ed’s only transportation was an old bicycle that was literally held together with duct tape and the grace of God. He rode it from East Leroy to Portage and everywhere in between to maintain relationships, get where he needed to go, and keep moving forward.

Now, made possible thanks to YOUR kind contributions, Ed has a reliable bike to get him where he needs to go.

Take a look in the comments to see the bike Ed was riding before this one. The difference is INSANE.

If you believe everyone deserves reliable transportation, give this post a like or share. Every interaction helps more people discover Freehub Cycle Club and makes stories like Ed’s possible.

Thank you to everyone who donates, volunteers, and supports our mission. ❤️
