Each challenge faced and every triumph celebrated connects us, reminding us that our histories do not define us, they shape us. Today, let’s honor the resilience that runs through this beautiful organization. Healing and change takes time, but together we can uplift each other and forge a better tomorrow for all.

🌟 Shout-Out to One of Our Amazing Trainees! 🌟

We love seeing our trainees shine, and this morning we saw a customer comment that made us incredibly proud:

"Shout out to the gal that's working the coffee shop this morning and had quite a line. She was very concentrated on her work preparing orders and took time to acknowledge those waiting that she was sorry for the delay. Her customer service skills are outstanding. She wasn't getting frustrated (or if she was, she didn't show it), and she makes one heck of an iced macchiato!"

This is exactly what our training programs are all about building confidence, developing skills, and creating opportunities for people to showcase their talents in the workplace.

To our outstanding trainee: thank you for representing yourself, Bronson, and Woman's Co-op so well. We couldn't be more proud! ☕❤️

Another busy morning at Woman's Co-op, and our training room was full once again. Seeing so many individuals show up ready to take the next step toward employment and stability is exactly what this work is all about.

This week’s orientation brought another packed room of people eager to get started, ask questions, and move forward with new opportunities. Our workforce programs continue to grow, and each full room is a reminder that when support and opportunity meet, real change happens.

Being in our new downtown location has added a whole new level of energy to this work. There’s something special about being in the heart of the city, more visibility, more connection, and a space that truly feels alive with possibility. We’re loving being part of the downtown community and all the momentum that comes with it.

From job training to direct work placements, there is a lot in motion at the Co-op, and we are grateful to be part of helping people build confidence, gain experience, and move toward their goals.

Another full house this morning at Woman’s Co-op and we love to see it!

The energy was high as folks got ready to head out to work and training opportunities across the community. Today, one of our crews is heading to Kalamazoo for a realtor clean-out project, while a brand-new group is beginning their journey at Snackwerks.

And the excitement keeps going… today at 2 PM we’ll officially celebrate our new downtown location with a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by The Battle Creek Area Chamber of Commerce!

We are absolutely loving the downtown vibe. The new space has already brought so much life, connection, and opportunity, and we’re excited for what’s ahead!
