What a wonderful day of friendship, fun, and adventure! Our senior travelers enjoyed a fantastic trip to Meijer Gardens, where they explored beautiful flowers, stunning sculptures, and picturesque landscapes. The fun didn't stop there - we topped off the day with a delicious stop at “Plainwell Ice Cream” on the way home, making sweet memories along with great conversation and laughter. For nearly two decades, the Battle Creek Community Foundation has proudly stewarded The Kool Family Community Center on behalf of our community.

Today, we're pleased to announce the transition of ownership to Senior Care Partners PACE, a trusted, mission-aligned organization committed to serving older adults and strengthening community connections.

This transition fulfills a long-term vision that began in 2008, ensuring the Center remains a vibrant, sustainable resource for generations to come. Community programs, senior activities, gym memberships, and existing rental agreements will continue uninterrupted, and BCCF has committed additional support to help ensure a strong future.

We're grateful to everyone who has been part of the Center's story and look forward to seeing its impact continue to grow under new leadership.
