Life-long entrepreneur, Kim’s first business was a Mexican restaurant and bar at the wee age of 20. Took all of her extra "taco money" and invested into real estate and other restaurants. In 2016 saw a need for an app for the hispanic community and launched a platform called Mi Padrino. That grew to 3 million users in 3 years and was acquired by David's Bridal in 2022. She now works for MSU Research Foundation leading entrepreneurship and innovation and recently started my newest venture SOBER(ISH), which to her surprise is on track to do $1m in sales in their first year, without ads, press or investment.
