Congrats to one of our clients who we have been working with and has not only completed drug court in 15 months (very hard to do), but has also become the manager at his job, bought a new car, and is getting married. Good things start happening once people overcome barriers related to addiction. He has a full life ahead of him and we are excited to see him live it. Although we had permission to post, faces are blurred for privacy. The two guys on the left are SHARE Center Peer Recovery Coach, Matt and Front Desk Lead, Jacob Kushner. They were there to help and support all the way!

The SHARE Center needs items for a silent auction. It is hard to believe but the 2nd Annual Cher for SHARE Fundraiser is just around the corner. This year's event will be held Nov. 12th at the Kool Family Center and Friends of the SHARE Center wants to make this year's event even more successful than last year.

The event will feature a Cher impersonator, signing, dancing, food, beverages, networking, and a silent auction. If you have some items you'd be willing to donate for the silent auction, please send us a message. Specifically, we are looking for gift certificates for restaurants or services, sports tickets or memorabilia, autographed pictures of celebrities, and fine art.

As part of our 35th Anniversary, Mayor Mark A. Behnke presented the SHARE Center with a Certificate of Recognition for our "dedication to the Battle Creek community". Thank you to the City of Battle Creek, MI Government City Commission for getting this done. Special thanks to Commissioners Jessica LaCosse, and Paige Katsarsky-Smith City Commissioner At-Large, as well as Vice Mayor Sherry Sofia, Mayor Behnke, and Jim Haadsma for being a part of our event.

Of course, a HUGE thank you goes to Friends of the SHARE Center, Melissa Burke, Kathy Antaya, Karmel Addis, Heather Stratton, and Dan Egan for making this event happen and for all the hard work and support you have given us. Thanks to Cakes by Boo for the yummy cupcakes!

As always, Bobby Holley was there to support as well! It was a great event! Thank you to everyone who came out to support us and the people we serve!!!

It was a hot week, but thanks to our generous community, we stayed nice and cool! Thank you to everyone who contributed to our mini-capital campaign that paid for our brand new HVAC unit! The last one was 15 years old and on its last leg. This thing should be good for at least another 15 years.
