It might be Summer break for some, but it’s time for us to “Hit the Books”! The donations are pouring in. Thank you for allowing us a small break. We’re looking toward Bazaar 2027! Keep those books coming! 📚

Well, it’s time to fill that arena again! The Book Barn will reopen for donations on Monday May 18-from 9-1. If you only have a few bags or boxes, please just come on by. If you have a huge donation, please call us to schedule a drop off time-225-578-5925. That way we are prepared with workers to help with the process. Regular donation schedule will continue. Mondays and Wednesdays from 9-1. Purple bins will return to Kean’s Dry Cleaning very soon, if that suits your donation needs better. Again—Thanks for holding your books for us and keeping us in mind throughout the year. We absolutely Could Not make the incredible Book Bazaar happen without you! 📚

It's Half Price Day today, Saturday April 18, at the Book Bazaar! Everything is half price starting when we open at 9 until we close at 5. While we have sold a TON of books, we still have plenty of books to satisfy a book lover--at Half the cost of an already cheap book!! Come Load Up.

I believe this is a record crowd! It took almost 9 minutes for everyone to file in. Some had been in line for 4 hours!! The line wrapped around the building-and it’s a Huge building!!
