Alliance Safety Council Mid-South is one of only 26 OSHA-authorized centers in the U.S. and the only center located in Louisiana.

elp companies meet their annual OSHA requirements in addition to its highly acclaimed offerings, such as Certified Occupational Safety Specialist (COSS), Certificate for Occupational Safety Managers (COSM), SAF Frontline Safety Training and the PowerSafe system. In a consortium with Louisiana State University’s College of Engineering, Alliance also offers OSHA training as the Mid-South OSHA Training Institute Education Center.

Today, Alliance team members Christina Dugue, Evan Mativi and Lucy Blanchard are in Gonzales, LA, for the Ascension Chamber of Commerce's Business Expo! The event provides an opportunity to connect and network with local businesses and share resources that can help strengthen the region's workforce.

Alliance's Training Grant Coordinator Marsha Ingram led a breakout session, “Doing More With Fewer Resources: How to Upskill Your Team with an IWTP/SBET Grant,” where she shared valuable information on grant opportunities that can help businesses provide training opportunities for their employees and support growth.

🎒 As students across Louisiana head back to school, remember to slow down and stay alert in school zones. Watch for school buses, crossing guards, bicyclists and pedestrians, especially during morning arrival and afternoon dismissal times.
