DHS has published a proposed rule that could significantly change employment authorization eligibility for certain noncitizens, including some individuals with humanitarian parole, deferred action, and final orders of removal.

⚠️ This is a proposal and is not currently in effect.

🗓 Public comments are open through August 4, 2026.
