Louisiana Storm Chasers We are experienced meteorologists and NWS trained storm spotters trying to make a difference in the weather community helping as many people as we can.

This group has been started in the hopes to build a Weather Ready Louisiana by informing the public of upcoming weather events and documenting severe weather events that impact the state. We are a group of experienced Meteorologists and Skywarn certified storm spotters trained by the National Weather Service. Our goal is to get the message out for severe weather and if able be there when it happen

ed to document it and relay to the NWS in hopes to save life and property. We also want to help educate the public on severe weather and weather in general because weather isn't always bad there is some fun to be had with it.

GOOD NEWS! In a remarkable turn of events thanks to dry air and Saharan Dust, is no longer expected from Invest 91L. Friday morning the NHC gave this a 90% chance to form, but tonight the odds were dropped to 0%. We'll take all the victories we can get during hurricane season! 🥳
