🍎 Need help putting food on the table? CCDBR is here to help.

Louisiana ranks among the states with the highest rates of food insecurity. To address this need, CCDBR's Faith-Full Food Program has open spots available at all five distribution locations for food boxes.

✅ Eligible participants can register in person and receive food boxes on distribution days.
📌 Please bring your Louisiana ID to complete registration.

Come see us at the Geaux Baby and Me Community Baby Shower & Resource Fair tomorrow, Saturday, August 8!

Visit our booth to learn about our diaper distribution program and how to enroll for food, diapers, and other baby essentials. We look forward to supporting local families and sharing available resources.

What a great day with the CCDBR team at our August quarterly staff meeting! We kicked things off with informative presentations and wrapped up with delicious food, games, and team-building activities that brought plenty of laughter, learning, and teamwork. Congratulations to this month's Angel Award recipients: Sheena Thompson and Laura Carbarcas! Nominated by their colleagues, they are shining examples of hard work, dedication, and unwavering support for our clients and team.

Special thanks to these volunteers from St. Joseph's Academy - Baton Rouge, Our Lady of Mercy School and The Dunham School! The students helped with our food distribution for the food insecure in our area.

Three of our team members - Meg Mahoney, Maria Hoover and Lili Pena - attended the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC) Convening. This conference brings together legal practitioners, advocates and nonprofit leaders from all over the country to network, learn, and gain insight about the current state of immigration law. Maria was also able to catch up with some of our colleagues at Catholic Charities USA - Emily Norton and Christopher Ross. Thanks to the Louisiana Bar Foundation, our team members are afforded opportunities to learn about comprehensive education on immigration law, program management and advocacy!
