Hey Baker Brigade!! Thank you thank you thank you to all of our family and friends who have joined this team! We have truly felt your love and support during this journey and feel blessed to have each of you in our lives. The walk was a great success, we loved getting to see those of you who could make it. Our team has already raised $5875 that will go towards MS research, that is amazing!! Every dollar counts, every step counts. Thank you for helping us move closer to a world free of MS 💚

The MS Walk is this Saturday, April 30th. THE BAKER BRIGADE TEAM HAS A TENT AT THE MS WALK. Please look for our tent and join us as we will march together to end MS.

Wear your Baker Brigade t-shirt or 'Camo' to add to the craziness and camaraderie of our team.

The Day of Event...What to know!
Walk Location
• North Boulevard, Town Square (located at 247 Florida St, LA 70801).
• Site opens at 8am, Walk starts at 9am.
Early Donation Drop Off will be held Friday, April 29 from 10am-6pm at Varsity Sports. Walkers will be able to drop off fundraising money and pick up event T-shirts (for those that reached $100 in Fundraising).
Varsity Sports is located at 2055 Perkins Road. Those who come by will receive a free Walk MS stadium cup!

Registration
• If you have already registered online and have no additional checks to turn in, you can go straight to the T-shirt table to get your shirt (if you've raised $100 or more). Otherwise, go straight to the fun!
• If you DO need to register or have additional checks/credit card payments to make, please see our registration volunteers for help!
o You should have already received your packet in the mail if you pre-registered. You can use the included envelope to turn in last minute checks on Saturday morning (please review our policy regarding cash at events, below)***
• Remember, you can still mail in checks and enter online gifts AFTER the Walk (see the Fundraising section below). You have 60 days after the Walk (until June 30) to continue fundraising for great prizes!

Team Tent Contests:
We can't wait to see the decorated tents in the Team Tent Village! The winning team will receive recognition and a team prize at the Walk. Teams can arrive as early as 7:30 to start decorating. The following teams won Team Tents:

Team T-shirt and Team Spirit Contests:
Teams that create their own team T-shirts will be placed in a contest at the Walk. The Team Spirit Contest is open to any team who would like to show their team pride! The winning teams will receive recognition and a team prize at the Walk.

DEAR BAKER BRIGAGE TEAM,
Despite the bad weather, we still have good news to celebrate. We were one of the top 5 teams raising $4100 to date. I also believe that our donations are not finished rolling in and being counted. We did not march but we banded together in support of Carl to support research and treatment. I am very proud of our efforts and hope to see everyone at next year's event. Stay tuned to the MS website for more fun events throughout the year.
