The Order of The Knights of Pythagoras is a youth fraternity sponsored by The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Louisiana. In the same way that masonry takes good men and makes them better, The Knights of Pythagoras takes young men, ages 8-18 and helps to develop them into upstanding young men of God and the future leaders of tomorrow. Our motto is Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

If you or someone you know, has a son or knows a young man in need of mentorship, please join us at our open house at The Ben Johnson Building, located at 1335 North Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70802 on Saturday, February 28th at 4:00pm.

The open house for Carter Tansil #3, Order of The Knights of Pythagoras, scheduled for 6:00pm on Saturday, January 24, 2026, has been postponed, due to the potential for hazardous weather this weekend. Help bring joy to a child this Christmas! 🎁✨
Carter Tansil #3 Knights of Pythagoras is hosting its annual Christmas Toy Drive! They are humbly requesting new, unwrapped toys for boys and girls of all ages.
Donations can be dropped off from November 5th - December 19th at:
📍 The Ben Johnson Building
1335 North Blvd.
Baton Rouge, LA 70802
The toys will be presented to needy children on December 22nd during the "Breakfast with Santa" at Capitol High.
