Brave Heart Children in Need A non-profit organization focused on improving the quality of life for abused and neglected children in Louisiana. Brave Heart- Children in Need, Inc.

is a non-profit organization which was founded in July, 2004. We are focused on the cause of improving the quality of life for children who are experiencing the emotional trauma of being removed from their homes due to abuse and/or neglect. Brave Heart- Children in Need participates in many community projects and activities regarding the plight of abused children. We are inspired by the concept of

tangible items that can be looked at and used on a daily basis to remind a child that they can face the unknown with hope. We have in place several programs which offer hope, encouragement, and comfort to children. Our Mission

“Assisting children who have been removed from their home due to abuse and/or neglect; instilling hope for the future and comfort as they go through this trauma." Our Goal
"To give each child the tools to build self-confidence, tools to teach them accountability by ownership, and items for comfort. Our desire is that they grow into productive citizens who in turn will contribute in positive ways to our Society."

Had a nice group of ALC youth come out on a Sat moring to wrap gifts for Brave Heart Children in Need They worked hard and wrapped almost 800 gifts as a team. Thanks to all for your service I am sure there will be some smiles for Christmas because of it.

This week, Brave Heart picked up 300 "hug a bears" from this group. So far they have provided 550 bears for Braveheart this year & a total of close to 3000 bears for other organizations like the emergency room's in local hospitals. They call themselves the Broadmoor Presbyterian Angels, but they now have members from other churches. Thank you for your help!

Come one and come all as you can see ALC and Exxon have stepped up to the plate for Brave Heart children in need. Two weeks so far and the toys are stating to roll in. Only about 20,000 more to go. Bring your group to wrap presents , do a fundraiser or a toy drive . Just ask us how and we will help you help the children. THEY NEED YOU !! and so do we
