At SCOAR, we are proud to partner with organizations that prioritize not only the success of our industry, but also the well-being of the people who make that success possible.

Today, we are sharing an important message from our Principal Partner, Contractor Service and Fabrication Inc., regarding mental health in the construction industry.

Please take a moment to read CSFCO's message below.

"Construction leadership carries real weight, tight schedules, high-risk work, workforce challenges, and constant decision-making. One topic we still do not discuss enough is mental health.

Strong leaders recognize stress, burnout, and emotional fatigue. We all play a role in creating a culture where people feel supported, heard, and valued.

Our industry is built on safety, resilience, and toughness, but real leadership also requires balance, open dialogue, and proactive support. Discussing and reenforcing positive mental health is not a weakness, it is part of building strong people, strong teams, and safer projects.

CSFCO and SCOAR would like to urge everyone to please forward or share this message, help create awareness and remind others that support is available. Let’s see how many people we can reach!"

This Memorial Day, SCOAR honors and remembers the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness have protected the freedoms we enjoy every day.

We also extend our gratitude to the military families who carry on their legacy with strength and pride.

As we gather with family and friends this holiday weekend, let us take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day and remember those who gave everything for our nation.

From all of us at SCOAR, we thank and honor our fallen heroes.

Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder that strength is not just physical. Mental strength matters too.

In the trades and construction industries, long hours, tough conditions, pressure, and stress are often treated as just part of the job. But mental health is just as important as safety on the worksite.

It is okay to talk about stress.
It is okay to ask for help.
And it is okay to check in on your crew.

A strong team looks out for each other both on and off the job.

This month, let’s help break the stigma surrounding mental health in construction and the skilled trades. One conversation could make a difference in someone’s life.
