Our mission is to educate, promote and support coastal restoration efforts for Louisiana's only inhabited barrier island, Grand Isle, and the surrounding coast, through an annual festival celebrating the coast. Musical performances incude the following:

I ran into a couple of people who attended the festival years ago. So many would like to see it happen again. If so, help me get sponsors. I can’t bare the bulk of the expenses as I did in the past. If you know a business who would be interested in contributing to this worthy cause for our beautiful coast, then give them my contact info. We gave it all we had, but it simply wasn't enough. My husband informed me that we are not millionaires....LOL. It broke my heart to type out the words "cancelled," but I know everyone will understand. Thank you to everyone who ever got involved with this event. Special "thank you" to all the bands for sticking with us over the last 4 years. "Thank you" seems very inadequate for all of your time and musical talent. You all have a special place in my heart and I'll always be here if you need me.

This is the last big push for the Uplifting the Coast Festival on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the Baton Rouge Fairgrounds. Lots of Arts & Crafts, Exhibitors, Car Show, Corn Hole (Bean Bag) Tournament, Off the Road Run, Great Louisiana Seafood, Music on Two Stages, and Much More. A Little Something for Everyone! All of the above for only $20 Admission! Kids under 10 get in FREE. Come out and enjoy a beautiful Louisiana day at the Fairgrounds. Please share....
