SAVE THE DATE: Sunday September 20th

LOCATION: The Bluebonnet Library (9200 Bluebonnet Blvd), Baton Rouge.

The LWS Fall Member meeting is just weeks away. We'll take care of some LWS business, including voting for the slate of officers for 2027/2028 and talk about the great events and opportunities scheduled (think paint outs, workshops and exhibitions), have fellowship with our watercolor friends, refreshments and door prizes.

Don’t miss our program, "Unmask Your Fears", where some of our talented members will share their best masking tips and secrets to preserving those whites!

What a stellar workshop with Donna McGee LWS-M Saturday! The fifteen participants attending worked on two separate paintings learning techniques on using fluid acrylics. Donna demonstrated the two ways she preps the watercolor paper, participants got a chance to paint on each one. Donna has done this technique for such a long time and had so much knowledge to share, everyone ended the day feeling very accomplished. Thanks so much Donna for your time and expertise. You may very well have some fluid acrylic converts....

The awards are in for the first online virtual member show! And we are quite sure Judge Don Taylor LWS-M had quite a time selecting the award-winning paintings from the beautiful group of works submitted.
