After much consideration it is with deep regret that we announce today that this year’s event has been canceled. We apologize to all participants both new and loyal racers for any inconvenience this decision has created. This is never an easy decision for a race director to make, and rest assured it was not.

Both Steve and myself are regrouping and refocusing our efforts for next year.

Again thank you for always being loyal to our race and most importantly helping provide shoes to the needy.

Dear participants-
I want to sincerely thank you for supporting our cause, whether you are a first time registrar or you have competed in multiple races with us. We have had incredible support from our participants, from our volunteers and sponsors, and of course from Shawn who has done such a wonderful job these last few years.

Over the past year we have continued to make donations locally, nationally and internationally shipping clothes and shoes to the people of Venezuela. Our goal has not changed, so we will be calling on you in the future for your support. We wish all the best to you and your families and again please except my sincere apologies for this inconvenience.
