Amanda Gorman is a celebrated American poet and activist, widely recognized for her powerful spoken word poetry that addresses themes of social justice, race, and inequality. She gained international fame after performing her poem, The Hill We Climb, at President Joe Biden’s inauguration in January 2021, becoming the youngest inaugural poet in U.S. history.

Most recently, Amanda Gorman performed a powerful new poem titled This Sacred Scene at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago in August 2024.
