Southern University Residence Life & Housing SU is a residential campus by design. Approximately half of the undergraduate population lives in one of nine residence halls or one of four apartment units.

On behalf of Residence Life, I want to welcome you to residential living here at Southern University (SU). As an SU resident student, you will have many opportunities to interact with students, faculty and staff as you learn to think and act as ethical leaders and responsible citizens. You will find that Residence Life staff – your RA, Hall Director, or any of us in the central office are here to
