The TJC Group was a proud sponsor of the 39th Annual Bayou Classic Scholarship Jazz Brunch hosted by the La. Legislative Black Caucus and the Bayou Classic 1979 Team Celebration.

In 1979, Southern University landed its first victory in the Bayou Classic with our very own, Dr. Al Barron, as the team’s punter. We are proud to celebrate this tradition. Go Jags!

Congratulations to Southern University and A&M College - Baton Rouge, LA and Grambling State University on an outstanding game at the !!!

The LLBC was proud to partake and host many activities throughout this historic weekend for two of Louisiana's outstanding HBCU's.

From meeting with members of the Louisiana Municipal Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials to hosting the 39th Annual Bayou Classic Brunch, this weekend was dedicated to preparing for and investing in raising the quality of life for African-Americans in Louisiana.
