Like most events of 2020, the Hunger Walk will look very different from events in past years. We will not gather, but rather ask that you show us how you walk to fight hunger in Baton Rouge. Efforts to raise hunger awareness and donations are also encouraged. Send us your videos or photos as you work to fight hunger so we can share those with others working toward the same goal in our community. All donations will be shared between the Interfaith Federation's Holy Grill feeding ministry and the Greater Baton Rouge area Food Bank. We will be working individually, but our collective efforts can still make a difference !

Thank you to everyone who turned out to walk in yesterday's Greater Baton Rouge Hunger Walk. It was a beautiful day, walking together to raise money for a great cause, and to increase awareness about hunger in Baton Rouge. Special thanks to our corporate sponsors, Syngenta and CocaCola -Baton Rouge,as well as to Charles DeGravelles for providing live music. WAFB Channel 9 also stopped by to help us tell the story about hunger in Baton Rouge with the attached video.

The Interfaith Federation of Greater Baton Rouge held its annual Hunger Walk at the Catholic Charities center Sunday, Nov. 10. Over a hundred people attended the walk which helps to raise money and awareness for families with food shortages.
