Today, our hearts are heavy.
The City of Port Allen is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of one of our precious children, who succumbed to injuries from an automobile accident this morning. No words can truly express the sorrow we feel as a community.
We ask that all of Port Allen come together in prayer—lifting up this child, their family, friends, classmates, and all who are grieving during this incredibly difficult time. Let us surround them with love, strength, and comfort.
To the family, please know that you are not alone. The entire City of Port Allen stands with you, mourns with you, and holds you in our hearts.

In moments like this, we lean on our faith and on one another. May we continue to uplift this family not only today, but in the days, weeks, and months ahead. Let love lead us, let compassion guide us, and let unity carry us through.

Grateful for the opportunity to go back to my high school and give $500 scholarships to two amazing students. Investing in our future and reaching back is what it’s all about.

Finally got it done, something that i’ve been wanting to accomplish for a while now. I have officially started my own nonprofit corporation, H.U.G.S. (Helping Us Grow Stronger). I’ve always enjoyed helping others and giving back to the community so now I am able to do so on another level.
The H.U.G.S. Corporation goal is to help those who are in the including low income families, the homeless community and the youth. We strive to serve our community by lending that helping hand and building up our society so that together we can all grow stronger.
