Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Nu Gamma Omega Chapter Empower Our Families Initiative CHIPP(Childhood Hunger Initiative Power Pack) subcommittee met today and formed an assembly line to feed our babies.

We met our weekly goal of 250 power packs filled with food for our partner school students.

The goal… to weekly address, eradicate food insecurity by providing weekend and holiday meals for our youth.

Many thanks to Principal Williams and Site Coordinator Dugas, Glen Oaks Park Elementary School for partnering with us.

Many thanks also to Initiative Chairmen Lynn Farris, Carla Harmon; Subcommittee Chairman Dr. Alexis Alexander and all the CHIPP Subcommittee members, volunteers, for the consistent passion to feed our babies, heart for the goal and hands always ready, willing to purchase and pack with purpose.
