182 years ago, a small group of young people in London sparked an idea that would grow into a global movement - a place for belonging, wellness, and community for all. Seven years later, the Y movement made its way to America (hence our Y175 anniversary campaign this year!)

We are incredibly grateful to United Way of the Southern Tier for awarding the Tri-County YMCA not one, but TWO grants this year! 💙
The Hornell YMCA received funding to continue our Senior Lunch & Learn Project, helping us provide meaningful connection, education, and wellness opportunities for our seniors.
We also received a very generous contribution toward new equipment for the brand new Bath YMCA, including recumbent bikes, recumbent ellipticals, and a treadmill — helping us continue to create welcoming wellness spaces for our community.
A special thank you to Erin Wagener for accepting the awards, and to Natalie Donahue for submitting the grant applications on behalf of our YMCAs.
We truly appreciate the continued support and partnership from United Way of the Southern Tier!

◾Childwatch Attendant (PT): Provide safe, engaging childcare while parents use the facility. | 10–15 hrs/week | $16/hr

We’re seeking a Program Instructor to lead youth athletics and programs in a positive, engaging environment.

What we’re looking for:
◾Experience working with youth athletics/programming preferred
◾Ability to lead and manage groups of up to 10 children
◾Reliable for 2–3 evening sessions per week (days/times TBD)
◾Willingness to set up and properly put away equipment
