We are looking forward to seeing everyone for the sale tomorrow. Just a couple of important items.

Cardboard and water don't mix!! Please do not load the back of your open pickup or trailer and expect your cardboard boxes to survive the rain. And from experience we can say, covering them with a blue tarp isn't going to work. We've seen that one learned the hard way. If you show up with crumbling boxes, you run the risk of having your lot rejected. We will not have extra boxes on hand to replace your crumbling wet boxes. Please keep your boxes dry.

It will be cool tomorrow and not the greatest environment to sell chicks. If you bring chicks, you are responsible to provide heat. And a reminder, NY Ag and Market law 354 requires that chicks, ducklings and other fowl be sold in a minimum lot of 6. All sellers are always responsible to follow all applicable laws.

Just a reminder that the Spring sale is coming up Saturday May 9th. Last fall we had one of our largest sales ever. Hoping we can top that next weekend. We expect a large variety of chickens, ducks, geese, pheasants, peacocks, pigeons, Guineas, turkeys, quail, rabbits, Guinea pigs, and caged birds so please stop on buy and get in on the action.

Hey everyone. As spring approches we just want to give a quick update on the 2026 Twin Tier Poultry Show

The Twin Tier Poultry Club members would like to invite you to our 44th annual fall show. The dates are Saturday and Sunday, September 12th & 13th. The Steuben County Fairgrounds in Bath, NY will be the site of this year’s event.

Judging this year will be Jamie Matts, Paul Monteith and Tom Roebuck.

The Bath Microtel has set aside a limited number of rooms with a “special rate”. Mention Poultry Show 2026 to get the rates of $129.00 + tax per night. Call 607-776-5333. This is the only hotel in Bath that we recommend. Many other hotels are available within 25 minutes of the show location.

Breed club meets so far that we’re hosting are APA club, ABA special, District meets for Call Duck Breeders, American Silkie and the IWBA. State meets for the Wyandotte, Guinea, Modern Game Bantam, and Polish Clubs. The Cochin International will be having a special meet. If your breed club would like to have a meet at our show let me know.

Peter Brown is planning on bringing his large assortment of poultry supplies and medications for sale. We’re expecting another great show, having some of the top exhibitors and birds visiting us for the weekend. More updates will be in the Poultry Press and on Facebook.

Hey everyone! Thanks again for helping us have a great fall sale!

Just a quick reminder to get your entries in for the Rochester Poultry Association show. This show is the next closest show to Bath and always a fun day. With your entries you and a guest will get an entry pass to the Genesee Country Village, which is worth the entry in itself. Youth are on Saturday and Open is on Sunday.
