🎨🐌✨Our pottery series has officially wrapped up, and the youth's creations are absolutely breathtaking!🎨🐌✨

During the final session, participants learned all about the glazing process. For their vessels, they had the opportunity to dip their pieces in the color—or colors—of their choice, while their snails were carefully hand-painted with unique designs and creative flair.

One of the most exciting parts is that the glaze used is food-safe, meaning these beautiful handmade pieces are not only works of art but also functional creations that can be enjoyed every day.

We are so proud of the creativity, patience, and hard work each youth put into their projects. Thank you to Beth at the heART Studios in Lindley, NY for this informative and fun series.

Today we had an amazing day at our Livestock Clinic! Youth from Steuben and Allegany Counties spent the day learning hands-on grooming, fitting, and showmanship skills with a variety of livestock species.

Participants also took part in a mini livestock skillathon to help prepare for Showcase and the State Fair, putting their knowledge and skills to the test.

A special thank you to Country Crossroads Feed & Seeds for providing an excellent feed and nutrition session and for generously supplying lunch for everyone.

Another special thank you to the Allegany-Steuben Hollstein Club for hosting us.

Thank you to all of our incredible instructors and volunteers for sharing their knowledge, experience, and passion with our youth. Your dedication helps make opportunities like this possible!

In observance of Memorial Day, our office will be closed on Monday, May 25th. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26th.
Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Today is the time to reflect on their courage, dedication, and selflessness, and to express our gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy because of their service.
As we gather with family and friends, may we also take a moment to remember those who gave everything for our nation.
