WRP Book Club is back with "Code Name Verity" by Elizabeth Wein, in tandem with our production of "Cry Havoc "by Allan R. Kenward!

WHEN: May 28 at 7:00 PM

THE BOOK: Oct. 11th, 1943. A British spy plane crashes in N**i-occupied France. Its pilot and passenger are best friends. One of the girls has a chance at survival. The other has lost the game before it's barely begun.
When "Verity" is arrested by the Gestapo, she's sure she doesn't stand a chance. As a secret agent captured in enemy territory, she's living a spy's worst nightmare. Her N**i interrogators give her a simple choice: reveal her mission or face a grisly ex*****on.

That same questions run through Cry Havoc. Set in a military field hospital in the Pacific, WRP's all-female cast brings eight women to the stage in one of the most honest plays about war you'll see anywhere. No heroes. No glory. Just women doing what has to be done.
