🎙️ One More Audition Day: A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play

If you couldn’t make the first two auditions, here’s another chance. We’re still casting A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play, and we’d love to hear your voice. Auditions are open to teens and adults, and you’ll read with script in hand, so there’s nothing to memorize. Kids are welcome too. Email us and we’ll find a way to include them.

The ghosts of Warm Springs come out once a year, the Saturday before Halloween! 👻

Bath County Arts is proud to sponsor Preservation Bath’s Warm Springs Ghost Walk. Costumed actors bring the village’s legends of love, loss, murder and mayhem to life on a guided one-hour walking tour that ends with warm c***r at the Courthouse. It’s spooky, not scary, and the whole family is welcome.

📅 Saturday, October 24
🕑 Tours depart every 10 minutes from 6:00 to 7:50 PM
📍 Park free at Bath County High School and take the shuttle into the village
🎟 $15, and children under 12 are free. Tickets are sold online through October 22 or until they sell out.

Pick your time slot and get your tickets while they last.

Celebrate the artists of A Second Look, 2026. Stop by for light refreshments and time to talk with the artists about their work. If you have a piece in the show, this is your hour to pick it up. It’s Country Store day too, so come early and make an afternoon of it.

✍️ Poetry Slam Workshop with Noelle Corley

Write a piece of your own, read it out loud, and get comfortable on stage ahead of our Poetry Slam on October 30. Never written a poem before? That’s a fine place to start. Just bring a notebook.

Noelle Corley is a retired Army veteran of 30 years who now lives in Hot Springs, where she and her husband, John, run a veterans’ nonprofit offering outdoor recreation and wellness activities. She also loves music, singing, and art, and volunteers with several veteran organizations.

Papier-mâché mask makers, we’ll see you back on Saturday, October 10 at 1:00 PM to paint and finish your masks.

If you missed it, you can still make one anytime we’re open, while supplies last.

✨ Feathers & sequins: $5

Kids can also pick from fall-themed paper masks, including a fox, a turkey, and cats.

Make a mask for the season at The BEAR. Kids decorate simple ready-made masks, free of charge. Teens and adults build papier-mâché masks today, leave them to dry for a week, then come back on October 10 to paint and finish them. No art experience needed.

Our first juried exhibition opens this month, and our artists have submitted so many beautiful pieces. Before Illumination – An Exploration of Light in the Dark Months of the Year opens to the public, we’re celebrating with a festive cocktail party at The BEAR. Join us for a lovely evening with friends and a first look at the work. Every piece on display is for sale, and every ticket supports Bath County Arts.
