The Rotary Club of Batesville is proud to announce the recipients of its annual Rotary Scholarship, awarded to exceptional high school seniors who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a strong commitment to community service. Each recipient will receive a $1,000 scholarship payable to their chosen university.
This year’s scholarship winners are:
Hayden Taylor – Batesville High School
Gwendolyn Goodwin – Batesville High School
Lily Barker – Southside High School
Hunter Williford – Midland High School
Emilee Pankey – Cedar Ridge High School
Each recipient was selected through a competitive application process that evaluated academic achievement, leadership experience, community involvement, character, and financial need. The Rotary Scholarship reflects Rotary International’s guiding principle of “Service Above Self.”
“Each of these students exemplifies the values of Rotary through their dedication to making a difference in their schools and communities,” said Dorothy Hennings, President of the Rotary Club of Batesville. “We are honored to support their educational journeys and look forward to the positive impact they will continue to make.”
The Rotary Club of Batesville has a long-standing commitment to supporting youth and education through scholarships, mentorship, and service initiatives. The scholarship program is made possible through the generous support of local donors and Rotary members.
