Hope Mentoring Organization

Hope Mentoring Organization Hope Mentoring Organization is built on three pillars: Innovation, Inspiration, and Influence. H.O.P.E.

We empower youth to think creatively, lead confidently, and pursue purpose through faith, mentorship, and community. Mentoring Program envisions a community in which every youth experiences nurturing one-on-one relationships, guidance, and community support, which in turn allows the adult supervisors/administators to mentor teens, and teen mentors to mentor junior high/middle age youth. This progr

am allows each of them to develop into their full potential, capable of making informed, responsible decisions as involved members of our community.

Good morning!! Over the last few months, Hope Mentoring Organization has proven what the Panola Hope Activity Center stands for. We have been blessed to mentor 60–75 youth in our community, providing homework help, mentor classes, sports, and recreational opportunities that build both character and confidence. Through our outreach, including youth court referrals, we are able to guide, support, and redirect lives with purpose.
In the month of April, we were honored to provide impactful learning experiences for our youth. We welcomed guest speakers like Kendra Smith, who poured into our students on behavior and life choices, and Mrs. Belinda Morris, who taught valuable lessons on finance and saving. We also created hands-on learning through our trip to Enid Lake Fish Hatchery, giving our youth exposure, education, and a chance to grow beyond the classroom.
We are also actively engaging our youth through baseball and softball practices at Patton Lane, building teamwork, discipline, and confidence on and off the field.
In addition, we were able to provide an Easter Egg Hunt for our community because of the generous support of Tiffany Hamilton, Shewanda Parker, Tonya Henderson, Chavon Mitchell, Alvanie Battle, Phi Beta Sigma, Advance America, and ICS. Your support helped us bring joy, unity, and smiles to so many families.
The photos speak to our effort to mentor hope—they capture the growth, the smiles, the learning, and the impact being made every day.
What we do is mentoring hope!! And how do we do it? Through intervention, inspiration, and influence. We step in when it matters, we speak life, and we lead by example.
Hope is here. Strong youth. Strong community. Strong faith

We celebrate reading!! The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” — Dr. Seuss
At Hope Connect Activity Center, we believe every page opens a new door. That’s why we challenge each mentor and mentee to spend 30 minutes each week reading. Hidden inside those minutes are new ideas, stronger minds, and bigger dreams. One book, one page, one moment at a time—because readers today become leaders tomorrow.
