Why White River Health is leaving UnitedHealthcare
“Every year, White River Health evaluates the insurance partners our patients rely on. This spring, we asked UnitedHealthcare to reduce claim denials and excessive paperwork requirements that took our physician’s time away from patient care. No change was made. That’s why White River Health will no longer be in network with UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage plans starting January 1, 2027*.
Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period opens October 15, your chance to review your 2027 options. White River Health is confirmed in network for 2027 with Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield, Arkansas Integrated Providers Dual Advantage, Devoted, Healthspring, and Tribute Select.

* Patients who have UnitedHealthcare coverage through a state retiree plan, VA-sponsored coverage, or a retiree plan sponsored by a former employer are not impacted by this decision and will remain in network.
