As volunteers and pound buddies working under "Santana's Hope 4 Paws non-profit animal rescue, it is our mission to help the animals at the City of Batesville Animal Control shelter to find loving families through advertising & social media. tise the available pets that are at the Batesville Animal Control to help find them homes and to limit their stay at the shelter. We are working under the non-profit “Santana’s Hope 4 Paws” based out of Steelville, Missouri. Santana was a dog that was rescued from a city pound in Missouri which led his rescuers to form a 501 C3 non-profit animal rescue to help their local city pound to rehome their dogs and other local pets in the area. Because of Santana’s inspiring story he has become the mascot of our non-profit. We dedicate this page in his honor because we know Santana wanted the same happy ending for all city pound animals.
