We talk a lot about reference photos and technique, but some of the best practice happens when you just stop and look. Really look. Not through a screen, not with a plan. Just you and whatever's in front of you, noticing the light.
Try it this week. Even for five minutes. Leave the phone on the counter and just look at something. A tree, your backyard, the way light falls across your kitchen table in the afternoon. Let yourself be an artist just by seeing. I think you'll be surprised what you notice. Let me know if you try it.
