Fox Valley Storytelling Guild

It is with heavy hearts that we share that - Larry Swenson, President of Fox Valley Folk Music Society, musician, singer, storyteller, faithful friend, and devoted husband passed away unexpectedly on May 2, 2026. His beloved wife and soul mate, Ginnie Seaman was, as always, by his side. This is an unimaginable loss to everyone who knew Larry - his s***k, his passion, his sensitive side, his detailed knowledge of seemingly endless topics, and his fierce determination to give so much of himself … to The Society, The Festival and mostly to those he called family and friends and whom he loved deeply. At this time, friends may reach out to Ginnie by email. A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date, and details will be shared.
