Below is the info going into the Church's October Newsletter. I will be adding the dates to the calendar.
Youth Gatherings:
Preteens (4-6 grade) meet @5 and Teens (7-12) meet @6 Unless otherwise noted.
Oct. 4th: Movie Night 5-6:30. More Info Below

Missions Night:
Covid-19 has caused many people to rethink how to serve right now. We may not be able to go to many places BUT the youth will still have opportunities to serve. Oct. 18th both youth groups will meet in the fellowship hall where we will make blankets for those experiencing homelessness in Cincinnati. All blankets will be donated to the organization Servants to the Least of These. Blanket material will be provided the youth just need to bring themselves and meet in the fellowship hall.
Movie Night:
October 4th is movie night! The Pollitts will be out of town but both youth groups are invited to watch a movie that night! Individual bags of popcorn will be provided along with drinks. Dan & Brandy Warren will be leading youth this night.
Youth Team Volunteers:
Although youth ministry is a fixture in the modern church, biblical principles can and should be the model for all ministries in the local church, including ministry to youth. Our God has already given us everything pertaining to life and godliness, including the principles and models of ministry in the Scriptures. The goal is making disciples and seeing the power of God unleashed in and through the lives of young people. Teens are at the point in their lives where they need to know the truth of God, how to live a life pleasing to Him, and what task He has called them to. As long as our motivation and message match that of Christ, then our ministries to youth are not only biblical, but necessary. It takes more than one person, it takes a team. Interested in helping? June 2021 Colombia Team:
The June 2021 team has begun meeting (again!). Although our trip was postponed this summer we are excited to be back to planning for the summer of 2021. The team will be continuing the work on the church as well as an agricultural project. Children's, youth, women, community game night and possibly a men's event are all on the agenda! There is a team of 14 going in June. Prayers are appreciated that we hear God's voice in our planning for both us and our friends in Colombia.
Our next team meeting will be January 10th @ 2pm in the Fellowship hall.
Blessing for Brisas Virtual 5K:
The 5K will look different this year! This year is a virtual race where participants can choose the time and place of when they complete it.
Located in Brisas del Mar, it’s a clinic which serves 3,000 persons in displaced communities every month at no cost to those persons who would otherwise not have health care.
