Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the Batavia Cemetery Association America 250 Concert and Tours today. We had two very informative tours highlighting the lives of our eight Revolutionary War veterans, re-enactors and a rousing patriotic concert by Batavia Concert Band. What a great way to celebrate!

Harvester Avenue

In celebration of America’s 250th birthday, the Batavia Cemetery Association will honor the eight American Revolutionary War veterans buried at the cemetery on Harvester Avenue.

Learn about the lives of James Holden, Deacon Benjamin Porter, Isaac Russell, Dr. John Hubbard, Captain John Burnham, Colonel Josiah Fish, Roswell Graham, and Sheffield Foster.

The free event on July 5th will feature the Batavia Concert Band playing patriotic music at 2:00 pm and tours of the veterans’ graves at 1:00 and 3:00.

Please bring your own chairs or blankets.

Hard to believe the beautiful summer and fall are coming to a close, and the holiday season is just around the corner. The weather and foliage cooperated nicely for two sold-out Ghostwalks in October, with 280 attendees!
