Did you miss the "Truth About Trafficking" presentation held here in Batavia this past May? You have another opportunity to get informed and involved!

Join our friends at the Rotary Club of Lockport and Project Mona's House for their upcoming awareness event on Saturday, September 12th. This engaging, interactive training will cover everything from understanding the warning signs and pathways that lead to trafficking to appropriate trauma-informed responses and reporting procedures.

Education and community action are our strongest tools in fighting this issue across Western New York. We encourage everyone—parents, educators, healthcare professionals, and community members—to attend.

⏰ Time: 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM (Doors open at 11:00 AM)
📍 Location: Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County Training Center (4487 Lake Ave, Lockport, NY)

🕊️A New Symbol of Peace is Coming to Rotary Park🕊️

On June 30, the Batavia Rotary Club will install a Peace Pole in Rotary Park.

The pole displays the message "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in four languages and serves as a reminder that peace begins in our own communities through understanding, kindness, and service to others.

Peace Poles can be found around the world in parks, schools, and public spaces, each sharing the same message of hope and unity.
As one of Rotary International's areas of focus, peacebuilding is at the heart of Rotary's mission. We are proud to bring this symbol to Batavia and invite everyone to stop by Rotary Park and reflect on its message.
