We're going to let Erick Horning handle this year's Ramble wrap up... "What a great Batavia Ramble we had this year! Beautiful weather and so many great local musicians all in one place. Thank you always to our great team running sound all day Gordon, Jon, and Ruben. So impressive watching Jon and the guys keeping track of all the different acts and musicians throughout the day and night. Thank you Clinton Stanley and Keith Worthington for supplying the bass amp and solid state amp for backline. Thank you to Stephen Kowalcyk for the crazy amount of time and effort he puts into organizing the event. Thank you to Paul Draper III for everything you did this year and helping with the T-shirts and Merch booth. I know it's hard with so much loss with close ones who were always there for you during this event and aren't anymore but they really are still present. It was great having our three-man team together this year and I look forward to work together with you guys for years to come, making this event bigger and better with each passing year. It's really hard to express how much The Batavia Ramble means to me and how happy I am to be a part of it every year. Thank you to Stephen's mom and family for taking so much weight off of us by keeping track of the raffle and being there all day until the end. Thank you to GO ART! and all the sponsors this year, Sloat Tire Shop, Arctic Refrigeration, and MOC Concrete. Also, a huge shout-out to Logan Music for being the local music shop that has become just as big a part of this event as anyone. We couldn't do it without you! Thank you to Bill Pitcher for always being there to support us and to keep reminding us of the roots of The Ramble and paying tribute to all those past musicians. I know how hard it is lately with so many close friends and family that are a part of the memorial list. If it wasn't for the older generation like Bill Pitcher, Keith Worthington, and Scott Graff to name just a few because there are so many this event wouldn't be what it is to me. Watching those guys as a kid growing up and then getting to hear from past greats like Timmy Pitcher, Paul "Tye" Tydeiski, and so many others, my musicianship and love for this local music scene wouldn't be what it is today. We have a great team at the Ramble and we are truly blessed to have everyone we have to make an event in Batavia like this possible. Thank you to The Batavian for always being there and Video News Service for documenting. I wanna keep this event growing while trying to make positive changes that only enhance our local music scene recognition and the memories of those passed. Life gets a little crazy while working my full time job and raising two little young ones, but getting to play in a band with my always supportive and beautiful wife Erika B Horning makes it all the more special. Thank you all again to fans and to everyone that makes this event so special... until next year, Ramble on!" 🎸

P.S.A. Just want to point this out as this is the 5th time this month we have intercepted one of these posts. If you come across any comments like this in the comments section, be it our event or any other festival’s event page for that matter, it’s almost always a scammer trying to get money from you. Don’t fall for it. They usually ask for you to message or email them directly bypassing the event page. If you do, they will typically try to pressure you for immediate payment for a vendor spot via electronic payment from a hacked account on one of the popular pay apps. When in doubt, your safe bet is to message the event page directly for more information on how to sign up to be a vendor. Legit events will not be asking for vendors to sign up in the comment sections of their own posts or event pages.

Just to clear up some confusion, last night’s event in Jackson Square was the Batavia “Rumble” a first year wrestling event also being held in Jackson Square. The two decade running Batavia “Ramble” Music and Art Festival is still happening Saturday July 11th next month. We are aware that this year’s date change and having two events with similar names in the same location has caused some confusion as The Ramble name was mistakenly used in multiple posts included some media outlets. We look forward to seeing everyone next month. We have an amazing line up in the works with multiple new bands playing for the first time this year! Well post that just as soon as we have all the bands confirmed. Until then… Ramble On!!! 🎸

The 2026 Ramble Band Application period is now closed. Thank you to all the groups who applied—we truly appreciate the overwhelming response this year. We are currently reviewing all submissions. Due to the high number of applications, we may ask solo or duo artists who are also members of other accepted groups to consider giving up their solo/duo slot this year. This will help ensure that as many artists and bands as possible have the opportunity to perform.

If you submitted an application but are no longer able to perform this year, please let us know as soon as possible, as there will likely be a waiting list.

Acceptance emails will be going out shortly, so please begin checking your email this week. Once you receive an acceptance email, please respond at your earliest convenience. As soon as we hear back from all confirmed bands, we will finalize the lineup and performance times and share that information as quickly as possible.

Thank you again to everyone that submitted, looking forward to another fantastic year! Ramble on!!!
