What's everyone planning on bringing to the auction on May 2nd?

I'll be postiing a list of expected consignments so everyone will know what species/breeds we'll have at the auction.

If you want to be included, email us which species/breeds you're planning on bringing to: [email protected].

You can also comment here... but sometimes some of the comments get lost and might not make the list!

Hoping to inspire everyone to fill out the paperwork correctly.... If you are unsure, please look at this example. The descriptions should be detailed (and match what is in the box!!). Note that the item # on consignment form MUST match with the item # on the container label. If you make a mistake on the form....don't just cross it out and "skip a line", print a new form! We need these item numbers to match on all forms.

The container tags are primarily for the auctioneer/auction staff. The auctioneer reads off of this tag to announce what is being auctioned. The tag should face the auctioneer (i.e. the back of the container). We waste a lot of time every auction searching for the labels all over the box. Best practice: in order to show buyers what is in the box, add your own label or simply write on the front of the box!!! Make it large and eye-catching. You will get more bids if people can easily tell what is in the box!

Bonus.... if you label/mark all of your boxes ahead of time, you will have an easier and quicker time adding the consignment labels (but you can do these ahead of time too). And since, the boxes are already labeled, you will make sure to get the right label on the right box...even in the darkish morning! This will greatly help us reduce delays.

Our 2026 Spring Auction will be Saturday, May 2nd at the Genesee County Fairgrounds in Batavia, NY. Registration / Check-in starting at 7:00AM. The auction will start at 9:00AM.

PLEASE READ THE ATTACHED INFORMATION CAREFULLY: WE ARE CLARIFYING/MODIFYING SOME AUCTION POLICIES!!!

We NEED sellers to do a better job of accurately labeling their items! Paperwork must be filled out correctly. Consignment forms, item labels, and the actual items to be auctioned all must accurately match! All cages should have solid bottoms and bedding.

If you need a PDF of the consignment form, send us a message and we can send that to you. We can also send a template if you'd like to print and make your own labels ahead of time.

We'll be compiling a list of expected consignments so everyone will know what species/breeds we'll have at the auction. If you want to be included, email us which species/breeds you're planning on bringing to: [email protected]. (I'll be less likely to miss your email then your comment here about what you'll be bringing.... do both if you want!)
