City of Batavia Firefighters Local 896 for Operation Warm City of Batavia Firefighters, Local 896 and Operation Warm providing brand new 100% American made winter coats to children in our community.

In 2013 City of Batavia Firefighters, Local 896 joined forces with the national non for profit Operation Warm. Operation Warm partnered with the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) in 2012 to provide children with brand new 100% American made winter coats. Since 2012 over 60,000 children have been given the gift of warmth by IAFF members. Local 896 will continue their fundraising effo

rts to provide for the children in the City of Batavia. Operation Warm also brings manufacturing jobs back to North America which makes the coats that much better, 100% made in the USA.
