With the weather tonight, kickoff is delayed — but as of right now, BYF Night is still on. Here's the plan:

BYF players running onto the field under the stadium lights
• We'll still meet in the end zone during the 4th quarter of the Sophomore game.
• We'll still line the field for Varsity as they run out — 30 minutes before their game starts.
• Times may keep shifting as the night goes on.
If tonight's game doesn't happen, it'll be played tomorrow, and BYF Night will move to tomorrow too — we'll email you if that happens.
Otherwise, we won't send any more email updates tonight — stay tuned to social media for the latest on timing.
See you in the end zone!

5/6th grade Parents. We're at 8 Head Coaches now but up to 147 kids. Registration closes tonight so we'll be at 18 kids per team. This will mean less reps in games. Coaching in BYF requires 1 practice a week and 1 game on Saturday. You will not find a more manageable league to be a Head Coach in! Need your help!

5/6th Grade BYF Parents. Head Coaches Needed!!!!
Currently we only have 7 Head Coaches at this level. We have 131 kids and registration is still open. We would like to confirm selected coaches Aug 5. Right now JB Nelson and HC Storm have no Head Coaches which means those kids will be split up among other teams. We are currently looking at teams of >16 kids per team for 7 on 7 Football. This means every kid will get less playing time if we don't have Head Coaches to build more teams around. Based on numbers we could use another Hoover Wood and Grace McWayne coach as we can't put all these kids on the same team. So if you're hoping your team is going to stay together by hold out you're rolling the dice. The only school we're set on is AGS. Ideally we need at least 3 more coaches but 5 would be ideal for right sized teams (10 - 11 kids per team). Head Coaches get to pick up to 2 asst coaches. Lets make sure these 5/6th Grade kids have a good experience and the playing time they've enjoyed in past seasons in BYF.

BYF Flag Coaches Clinic 7/21 (TOMORROW) 6-8 PM at BHS Room A101.

Clinic will start at 6 PM doors open at 5:30 PM.
Classroom (A101) - Park on the Main Street side of BHS. Enter into the Athletic Entrance and then turn right down the first hall. A101 will be labeled classroom on the right of that all.

We will demo drills in the fieldhouse with the BHS HS Coaches following the classroom time.

This clinic is optional but will provide valuable information about coaching in BYF. If you're interested in coaching and have not yet signed up please be sure to fill out the coaching interest form.
